Community Support
Breast Cancer Awareness Walk - For several years, the Grand Strand Advanced Practice Nurse Association has supported the Breast Cancer Walk in Murrells Inlet. In 2017, GSAPNA donated $1000 to support the cause. Several of our members also participated in the walk.
Support for South Carolina Nurse Practitioner Coalition - GSAPNA is dedicated to the support and advancement of advance practice registered nurses in South Carolina. GSAPNA has made a number of large donations to forward the cause. In 2017, we again voted to continue support of this bill with another donation to the coalition. Several of our members participated in 2017 legislative day. The next planned day to meet at the state house is February.
